Operational (medium-long term) |

Operational issues are the highest profile element in private healthcare and require experienced and specialist input to ensure the key areas remain efficient and smooth running. The most frequently encountered operational problems are falling occupancy, care and nursing issues and difficulties with CSCI and Local Authorities.
We provide occupancy problems review and analysis, marketing programmes, staff restructuring, motivation and recruitment, registration issues, policies and procedures upgrade and implementation, CSCI liaison, special projects review, analysis and review of staffing, domiciliary and day care applications and, if appropriate, Home closures.
Management (short-medium term)
Management issues range from a desire to implement strategies to re-marketing or closures.
We offer: project management, market research and analysis, structuring, staffing issues, implementation of policies and procedures and marketing reviews and changes. Full operational management of Homes (which could include receivership), liaison with ALL parties involved in the Home, from lenders through to relatives.

Financial services encompass turn-around plans or placing the client with an alternative lender.
Services can involve: business / rescue plans, financial forecasting and modelling, break-even analysis, analysis of historical and future financial positions, financial health-checks, overhead analysis and realignment, fund-raising, liaison with lenders, creditors and suppliers, investment planning and appraisal, acquisition and disposal advice, implementation of accounting, payroll and financial management systems, review of overhead containment, calculation of “true” staff costs through a range of occupancy levels, P&L, cashflow and break-even forecasts, financial comparison to market indicators, fee level reviews, the impact assessment of CSCI re-registration, capital expenditure analysis, evaluation of the Bank’s security, improving credit / security risks for banks, cost analysis, accounting services and sales ledger financing contacts.

Home Advantage is a unique business support package created by us for a more long-term relationship and dedication to the successful running of a Home, being comprehensive and yet flexible to work in the most effective way. Homes gain specialist expertise by a qualified team, as and when it is required.
The package offers: access to specialist help via our telephone helpline, six-monthly on-site management consultation visits, review and analysis of trading figures and staff costs, review and analysis of the marketing programme and discounts on our other services.
Paid either by annual or monthly subscription to help clients financially, the potential savings often cover the cost of the subscription in the initial months.
